Talking Transport’s third day at the ITS World Congress

The third day at 2019’s ITS World Congress in Singapore, and SMART Highway’s Talking Transport podcast has all the latest from the event.

SMART Highways editor Paul Hutton sits down with SWARCO’S Speaker of the Board, Michael Schuch, to talk about how its more than just white lines on roads and traffic lights. “We are using this event to also give a glance at our new platform, My City, which should help cities to manage forthcoming challenges in terms of mobility,” explained Schuch.

Cohda Wirless speaks about an important connected solution being looked at at the world congress that it collaborated on with Cisco. Using analysis of vehicle movements through connectivity, Cohda Wireless’ solution works to make roads safer. CEO Paul Grey talks connected solutions and safety. “One day we’re gong to have connected vehicles, and connected autonomous vehicles which are all going to be connected to everything else via data and V2-X. But what do we do in the meantime?” Grey questions.
